2days tour of Train(Pinxi,Jioufen)
If you like train and want to explore deep culture of mountain town of Taiwan,we recommand you can arrange the two-days schedule that can avoid crowd people and have a peace time to enjoy the silence of the mountain town.
Day1:Ruifun-Pinxi-Jioufen(stay@Jioufen or Jinguashi)
Morning
Taipei-Ruifun train station:You can take train to Ruifun enjoy the views of the slow train,take 45mins.
When you take off the train,on the opposite side you can see the train to Pinxi,and the platform can buy the one day ticket:NT52,
can take Pinxi Line without limit.But you need to watch out the time table of the train,because the train doesn't often.
Pinxi line is the branch of Taiwan trailway,this branch has many place can go:
1.侯峒Houton,now was famous by cats,if you're fans of cat that there will be your favourite place.A lot of foreign and local photographers are attracted by cats crowd.
2.Shifen十分/Pinxi平溪:the most popular activities in this district is "天燈sky lantarn",you can write some wishes on the sky lantarn to pray for happiness,and the lantarn will take your wishes come true.When on February will held up a Sky lantarn Festival.
3.菁桐,is a beautiful town that a few visitors visit,but it rests lots of japanese style houses,tea house,and famous for 太子賓館if you like observe old street and Taiwanese local houses,maybe you can take train to the final stop Jinton.
